Recording the incident is the easy part. Whether it still holds up months later depends on what happened to the file in between: the camera it came off, the dock that pulled it, and the system that has held the record since.
Body-worn cameras on officers, helmet cameras on riders, dash cams, mobile DVRs and PTZ cameras in vehicles.
Every device encrypts as it records and stamps each file with the operator or vehicle ID, GPS position and time. Offline and Wi-Fi models hold the whole shift until the camera is docked. 4G and 5G models send it up as it happens.
The camera goes into a bay at the end of a shift. It charges and offloads in the same step. Nobody moves a file by hand, and nobody can quietly lose one.
Some docks are plain multi-bay chargers. Others carry a screen so footage can be checked before anyone leaves the room, or tag each camera to the officer who signed it out. The footage stays on hardware you own, on-premise or hosted in-country.
Video only becomes evidence once someone can find it and show it has not changed. Search by officer, shift or incident, attach clips to a case, decide who is allowed to open them, and let files expire on the schedule your policy already sets.
Every view, export and share goes into the activity log, and that log is what gets produced when someone disputes who saw what.
Some incidents cannot wait for the dock. The 4G and 5G body cameras and the 4G vehicle recorders stream live, and a control room watches the video, the GPS position and the route already travelled in the same window. Voice intercom runs both ways. An operator can talk the officer through it rather than just watch.
Alarms and SOS presses land in that same window. Anything streamed is written to the evidence store as well, so a live incident and a shift that came back on a dock finish in one case file.
Bring us the deployment you actually have and we will run the whole chain against it: cameras, docking, your own server, evidence management. We pick the models at the end of that, once we know what they have to survive.
